Condition is defined as the state of something, especially with regard to its appearance, quality, or working order.  I don’t know about you, but after having kids my condition is pretty much a code black…black coffee that is.

Oh yes, my working order is definitely on a decline.  My kids keep me busy from sun up to sun down.  That doesn’t leave much time for pampering.  I have to work with what I have in the time I have.  And let me tell you, I make it work 😉

Over the years I’ve discovered ways to fit in workouts, cook nutritious meals, and implement helpful beauty tips to keep us moms looking semi presentable considering how chaotic our lives can be.

The Critics

As parents, especially mothers, we are judged often on how we look.  Sometimes our biggest critic is the person standing in front of the mirror.  I’ve often caught myself with my face 1 inch away from the mirror tugging back on my skin.  There’s also been times when I’d feel down about the state of my belly or even my stretch marks.

But that’s life, and that’s being a mom.

It’s like they say, we need to wear our battle scars proudly.  I’ve learned to love my body because of my two lovely lads it created.  Furthermore, every wrinkle, every gray hair, every stretch mark is a story of my life and how I lived.  And I plan on living my life to the fullest, having fun with my kids while they create more wrinkles and gray hairs.

We just need to be kinder to ourselves.  We created tiny humans, and those tiny humans see us as Kings and Queens.  Be the awesome person your child sees!
