Top 5 Drugstore Makeup Products – Makeup for Mamas

So, I’m a mom of two young boys.  They have a LOT of energy.  I’m constantly having to chase after them or yell at them about something.  They hardly give me two minutes to even go to the bathroom!  So, it’s no surprise that I have limited time to make myself presentable for the public eye.  I have learned to use what little time they allow me to apply a few makeup products, so I don’t look like the walking dead when I leave the house.

I use these five makeup products to even out my skin, hide those bags under my eyes, and put some life back into my face.  If I have to, I will go out with makeup.  But some days, it’s just not doable as a mom.

You know how you look after a rough night with the kids.  Or, your hormones are out of wack after having a baby, and now you are breaking out like a teenager.  I feel your pain!

This makeup look is perfect for when you just want to apply some makeup quickly before heading out to the store, or dropping the kids off at school, or even just a “no-makeup” look for work.

The products are budget friendly.  The makeup is easy to apply.  It’s just such a quick and simple look!

The Products

1. Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer With Sunscreen Broad Spectrum Spf 15

I love this face lotion!  I’ve been using it for over a year now.  I have oily skin and this lotion does not create more oil on my skin like other products can.  My skin feels smooth and fresh when I apply it.  Once applied, if you look closely at your skin, you can see a shimmer to it.

2.  Maybelline New York FaceStudio Master Conceal

This concealer lasts me forever!  I like that it is full coverage.  It covers my dark circles, camouflages my under-eye wrinkles, and conceals breakouts and other problem areas on my face.  When I’m in a rush, I just mix this with the Aveeno face lotion, and it cuts my time in half!

Their website says:

I’m a fan of the L’Oréal Voluminous Mascara.  The last time I was at the store, I purchased this version to see how it compares to the original.  And I like this version the BEST.  The brush has these tiny little bristles that are able to coat all the lashes evenly and perfectly.  I just really love this mascara!

5.  Revlon ColorBurst Matte Lip Balm

Ever since I became a mom, I don’t like to go crazy with my lips.  Gloss can get messy, and lipstick typically needs to be reapplied.  I like to stick to ChapSticks and lip balms.  I started using the tinted balms, because they add color and moisture to the lips.  This one by Revlon is perfect for bringing some life back to your lips!  Just rub a little of the product on your finger and tap it onto your lips.  This makes it look more natural on the lips.  (I use the shade 205 Elusive)

Their website says:

Vibrant colors infused with a Triple Butter Complex give you a bold, beautiful lip. It’s a burst of matte color with a balm-like feel. Go bold and get moisturized in 10 craveable, collectible shades.
