Mom's Mashed Sweet Potatoes

Course Side Dish

Ingredients

  • 3 medium carrots
  • 3 large yams
  • 32 oz chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut veggies into chunks and boil in chicken broth over medium-high heat until tender - about 35 minutes.  Drain and mash.  Add cream and butter.  Whip with mixer until fluffy.  Salt and pepper to taste.
